Prerequisites

For 2020-2021 enrollment, students should meet the recommended academic prerequisites listed below and/or receive recommendation from school counselor and principal’s approval.  

  • Incoming 9th Graders

    • Promotion from 8th grade

    • Minimum average of C or higher 

    • Additional assessments as needed (i.e. MAP, SC PASS, SC Ready, etc)

  • Incoming 10th Graders

    • Successful course completion of English 1 and Algebra 1 or Geometry

    • 6 minimum accumulated credits

    • Minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.5

  • Incoming 11th Graders

    • Successful course completion of English 1, 2 and Algebra 1 or Geometry and 1 science and 1 social science

    • 12 minimum accumulated credits

    • Minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.5

  • Incoming 12th Graders

    • Successful course completion of English 1, 2, 3 and Algebra 1 and Geometry and 2 science and 2 social science

    • 16 minimum accumulated credits

    • Minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.5
