The
national spotlight focused on Nyles Pinckney is getting brighter.
Although still a junior, the talented 6’3’’, 285-pound defensive tackle
from Whale Branch Early College High School already has a bevy of
schools competing for his signature, including big names like Clemson,
South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and
Miami. The latest indication of Pinckney’s star status is an online
poll currently being conducted by FNF (Friday Night Football) Magazine,
which has opened up its “coverboy” selection process to the public.
Fans can vote on line for one of 25 finalists from North Carolina and
South Carolina (including Pinckney), with the top two vote-getters in
the poll earning their way onto the magazine’s 2015 edition cover. The
online vote will be open until April 15, and Beaufort County football
fans can Tweet their votes at @fnfmag and use the hashtag #FNFcoverboy.
