2017 Behavioral Health Conference

As educators and in today’s climate, we understand that student intelligence is not the only determining factor for student success. This one-day conference will help educators understand the importance of emotional intelligence and how meeting the social-emotional needs of students significantly impacts academic success.

Dennis McKesey, of the acclaimed film, Waiting for Superman, will serve as the keynote speaker for this behavioral health conference. Mr. McKesey’s belief that supporting educators’ passion to learn and grow enhances their capacity to facilitate student learning; completely aligns with the focus on targeted professional development in Beaufort County School District.
